Elaine Lois Galindo, 87, of Springville, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 28, 2023, at her residence.

Elaine was born Wednesday, September 16, 1936, in Muskegon, Michigan, to the late Farrel Robinson and the late Virginia Zemke Parker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters: Sandra Dagen and Charlotte Robinson; and two brothers: David Robinson and Butch Robinson.

She retired from Durango Boots in Franklin, Tennessee, and formerly worked at Genesco in Camden, Tennessee.

Elaine loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She enjoyed reading, fishing, playing cards, growing flowers, and her birthday parties.

She is survived by her six children; John Galindo, Jr., of Springville, Tennessee, Susan Watts, of Big Sandy, Tennessee, Robin (Steve) Holifield, of Eva, Tennessee, Patricia (Doug) Lowe, of Springville, Tennessee, Daniel Galindo, of Springville, Tennessee, Jeffery (Cynthia) Galindo, of Springville, Tennessee; one sister: Ida (Chuck) Sternburgh, of Norton Shores, Michigan; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Sharon Crosno officiating.

Elaine’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Henry County Tabernacle Cemetery in Springville, Tennessee.
