Charles Edwin Breeding

Charles Edwin Breeding, 92. of Paris, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.

Charles was born Friday, December 11, 1931, in Holly Grove, Arkansas, to the late Henry Breeding and the late Myrtle Norton Breeding. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son: Ken Breeding; and one brother, Henry Breeding.

He retired as a Partner at Thompson Breeding Dunn Creswell Sparks CPA firm in Paris, Tennessee.

He was a U.S. Air Force & Army veteran.

Charles was a member of First Baptist Church in Paris and previously served as a deacon in several different churches.

He loved reading history and enjoyed golfing.

He was married Sunday, December 18, 1955, to his wife of 68 years, Lou Boyles Breeding, who survives, of Paris, Tennessee.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by two daughters: Lori (Brent) Dial, of Paris, Tennessee, and Gina (Bart) Fuller, of Union City, Tennessee; one sister, Barbara Brossett, of Little Rock, Arkansas; three brothers: Joel (Ginger) Breeding, of Mountain View, Arkansas, Jim (Anita) Breeding, of Paris, Tennessee, and Merle (Jean) Breeding, of Sebastian, Florida; two grandchildren: Taylor (Katie) Dial, and Holly (Adam) Owens; and two great-grandchildren: Blair Dial and Allie Dial.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, Tennessee.

Visitation will be Monday, January 1, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Dr. Trent Bullock officiating.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tennessee.
