Mrs. Peggy Ann Cook, 89, of Sango, Tennessee, was called home to be with the Lord Monday, December 25, 2023.
She was born in Stewart County Thursday, October 4, 1934, the beloved daughter of the late James W. and Mildred Perrin Burkhart. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers: Delmer Burkhart, Willard Burkhart, Gene Burkhart and L.D. Burkhart.
Peggy was a member of Sango United Methodist Church.
She was an avid crafter and made many ceramic pieces.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 69 years: Charles Irvin Cook; sisters: Faye (Gary) Ziegler, of Slidell, Louisana; Brenda (Kenneth) Smith, of Big Rock, Tennessee; several cherished nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Anglin Funeral Home Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Smith Cemetery, Big Rock, Tennessee, at 12:30 p.m. with Bro. Willie Lyle officiating.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
