Public facilities of the Fort Donelson National Battlefield will be closed for the Christmas Day holiday, Monday, December 25, HOWEVER, the battlefield grounds, trails, and roads of the Fort Donelson units will be accessible on the holiday during their regularly posted hours.
All facilities will reopen for their normally scheduled access the following day.
Pedestrian access hours to the park are from sunrise to sunset, with vehicle access to Fort Donelson Park Road, Graves’ Battery Road, and the National Cemetery Drive from 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
