Mrs. Robbie Jackson, 88, of Dover, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Charter Senior Living, Paris, Tennessee.
She was born in Stewart County Sunday, July 7, 1935, the beloved daughter of the late Basil and Zanie Champion Hicks.
Ms. Robbie worked at Eli Waker and Dover Products until she retired.
She was a faithful servant and loved the Lord. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir and was a children’s Sunday School teacher for many years.
She enjoyed the company of her friends and was a volunteer at the Senior Citizen Center in Dover, Tennessee, for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband: James T. (JT) Jackson, and brother: John W. Hicks.
She is survived by her sister: Judy Lancaster, of Paris, Tennessee, and many cherished nieces, nephews and many loyal friends.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Steven Head officiating.
Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens.
Those serving as pallbearer will be deacons and friends of First Baptist Church.
