Miss Naomi Jean Burcham, 78, died Saturday, December 16, 2023, at AHC of McKenzie.
She was born Sunday, December 31, 1944, in Pope, Tennessee, near Linden, Tennessee, to Marvin Odell and Mary Lois Woods Burcham. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Linda Parish, Doretta Winsett, Shirley Hendrix, and a brother: Johnny Burcham.
She was a former cafeteria worker at Bethel College (now Bethel University).
She was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church, near Como, Tennessee.
Survivors include sisters: Mary Lou Burcham and Lillie Bell Burcham, both of McKenzie; three brothers: Jimmy Burcham, of Hazel, Kentucky, Tom Burcham, and Jerry Burcham, both of McKenzie.
Services for Miss Naomi Jean Burcham, 78, will be held Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Elder Edward Long officiating.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
Pallbearers who will be serving will be: Dennis Adkins, Jacob Harwell, Ethan Harwell, Max Harwell, Hunter Frasier, and Ron Lynch.
Interment will follow at Carroll Memorial Gardens.
