Funeral Services for are Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment and military honors is at Mt Olivet Cemetery, McKenzie.
Mr. Robert William Robertson, 89, died December 13, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He retired from the U.S. Army, was a cattle farmer. He is a member of First Baptist Church McKenzie, the American Legion, VFW Post # 4939 and served as club commander from 1991-1994. He was born in Yuma on November 18, 1934 to Eddie and Eva Azbill Robertson.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years Wynnie Robertson of Jackson, a daughter Teri R. Stansell of Jackson, a step-son John (Cheryl) Tyson of Collinwood, a sister Jamie Cude of Humboldt, one grandson, four step-grandchildren, two great grandchildren, seven step-great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild and two step- great -great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Aaron Robertson, and step-daughter Sonja Sides.
