Mrs. Peggy Olean Peacher Smith, 83, of the Big A Community, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Signature Healthcare Clarksville.
She was born Saturday, November 2, 1940, in Stewart County, Tennessee, daughter of the late Berlin ‘Dooley’ Peacher and Ruby Austin Peacher.
Mrs. Smith was a lifelong member of Wyatt’s Chapel Church.
She enjoyed quilting and crafting but her greatest love was her family.
She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband: Edward Smith; step-brother: Donnie Hutchison, and step-mother: Mary Emily Richardson Peacher.
Survivors include her children: Jeffery L. (Cathy) Smith and James E. Smith; grandchildren: April (Michael) Cheatham, Audrey (Jeff) Hicks , and Kyle (Mandy) Smith; great grandchildren: Jonah Cheatham, Haley Cheatham, Jensen Hicks, Addie Smith, and Maxie Smith; and sisters: Gaye Taylor (Frank Ed) and Judy Wyatt.
Visitation for Mrs. Smith will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Anglin Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Edwards and Bro. Gary Dacus officiating.
Burial will follow in the Wyatt Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Kyle Smith, Jonah Cheatham, Dan Haley, Deryk Wyatt, Michael Cheatham, and Jeff Hicks.
