
Paris, Tenn.–The Henry County Helping Hand Radio Auction starts again January 8 and there will be nine auctioneers–two of whom will be new this year.
Helping Hand runs from January 8 through February 28 and will again be held at the Paris Convention Center. It will be broadcast live on our station WHNY (104.7FM and 1000 AM).
Auctioneers met Tuesday to make assignments for the auction. Auctioneers this year are Noel Hatman, Andy Collins, Jamie Orr, Darrin Thompson, Ray Compton, Junior Staggs, David Jackson, and new Auctioneers Amy Veazey and Wendy Barnhart. Doug Taylor will be the in-house auctioneer on evenings.
Facilitator Cindy Snyder informed auctioneers that DPC is donating new phones for the panels to answer this year.
Last year was a banner year, with a record-setting $519,630 raised for 90 non-profit organizations.
