Paris, Tenn.–The weather forecast looks fine for this weekend’s Holly Jolly Electric Christmas Parade and the Christmas Festival in downtown Paris, both of which were rescheduled due to last weekend’s storm.
The Parade will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, December 15. The Christmas Festival will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, December 16.
Update to parade route:
Though we have previously provided a map of the parade route, we will be altering the route by assembling and beginning the parade in another area.
This year we will be assembling in the parking areas of the First Baptist Church and City Parking lot at the corner of Brewer Street and Ruff Streets. As entries arrive they be directed as to where they should park to stage their entry for the parade.
The Downtown Paris Association already announced the 2022-2023 HCHS Lady Patriot Softball team will serve as the Grand Marshals of the 2023 Holly Jolly Electric Christmas Parade and this year’s Ambassadors will be Rick and Pam Conger, who have been involved with the community for many years.
The Christmas Festival, sponsored by Paris Board of Public Utilities and Broadband of Indiana will include several activities.
