Henry Co. Deputy In Stable Condition After Crash

Paris, Tenn.–A Henry County Sheriff’s deputy is in stable condition at Vanderbilt Medical Center after he struck a tree while on the way to investigate a home invasion.

Sheriff Josh Frey said the accident happened Saturday.

Deputy Chad Andrews was responding to a call of a possible home invasion in Henry County and while responding to the call Deputy Andrews traveled off the highway in a curve on Highway 140 South.

Deputy Andrews’ vehicle did strike a tree during the crash and was first transported to the Henry County Medical Center. He was later transferred to Vanderbilt Medical Center which is where he remains in stable condition.

Frey said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with Deputy Andrews.”
