Dover, Tenn.–The Fort Donelson National Cemetery Wreath Across America Ceremony will be held at noon December 16 to remember veterans by laying wreaths on the graves of the men and women buried at the Fort Donelson National Cemetery.
Members of the Dover American Legion said they are only 80 wreaths short of having 100 percent coverage on all the graves at the cemetery. The last date to order is Tuesday, November 28.
There are 1730 grave markers and memorials at the cemetery. Last year they were able to cover every single grave marker for the first time since 2016, the initial year the Wreaths Across America program was conducted at the Fort Donelson National Cemetery.
