The LIFELINE 3rd Annual Battle of the Armed Forces blood drive wrapped up and the winner is ARMY. They had a total of 28 donors with Marine Corps close behind with 27 donors. You may remember this happened last year as well. All in all, 91 units were collected from the following and in support of the following: US Coast Guard, US Army, US Air Force, US Marine Corps, TN Army Nat’l Guard, and US Navy. The impact is great: 273 lives saved. This is a 62% increase over participation last year, so that is exciting. LIFELINE will be presenting the trophy to Army representatives at the recruiting office on Nov. 28 at 12noon.
