Mrs. Elizabeth Carol Pinson, 78, died Thursday, November 23, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
She was born Monday, April 9, 1945, in Vale, Tennessee to Oliver and Vela Pruitt Fields.
She was a former Bank Teller at McKenzie Banking Company and retired from State Farm Insurance in McKenzie.
She was a member of McKenzie Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Robert Franklin Pinson, who died in 2016, and three brothers: Gordon “Cotton” Fields, James Fields, and Bobby Fields.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Wendy and David Hazlewood, of Milan; two grandchildren: Kathryn Hazlewood and Eric Hazlewood; two sisters: Dorothy Fields Norden, of Indiana; and Marjorie Hutchens, of McKenzie.
Services for Mrs. Pinson will be held Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home with Brother Scott Bloodworth officiating.
Interment will follow at Mixie Baptist Church Cemetery, located on State Hwy 77.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 25, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
Pallbearers who will be serving are: David Hazlewood, Eric Hazlewood, Derrek Markgras, Dalton Markgras, Dallas Wade and Tommy Bowman.
