Mr. Timothy Allen Fields, 71, of Dover, Tennessee, was called home to be with the Lord Monday, November 20, 2023, at Ahava Healthcare, Clarksville, TN.
He was born in Rushville, IN on February 13, 1952, the beloved son of the late Wilson and Bertha Flannery Fields. He served his country proudly with the U.S. Army. He was a faithful servant and was a member of Community Gospel Church in Dover, TN. Tim was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing with his family and dear friends. He was a hard worker and provider for his family. He worked until retiring for the postal service and a truck driver.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Wilson Fields, Jr., and sister, Harlene Robertson.
He is survived by his loving and caring family, wife, Janice Herrell Fields; son, Allen Fields of Wilkinson, IN; brothers, Anthony Fields of Waleska, GA, Hobert Fields of Chelsea, AL; grandchildren Dixie Shabdue, Lindsay Fields, David Fields and Savannah Fields.
Visitation will be held at Anglin Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, November 26, 2023, beginning at 12:00 pm and continue until the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Scott Weber officiating. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Timothy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Shriners Children’s Love to the rescue, Wounded Warrior Project, Tim’s church, Community Gospel Church or charity of your choice.
